Silicon carbide

The production of silicon carbide takes place by melting silica sand and petroleum coke at high temperatures and in the presence of other selected ingredients. Silicon carbide is an extremely hard material and at the same time stands out for its high chemical resistance. A wide range of precise sorting incl. of the finest micrograins with a size of 1.5 µm.
